Manatee Terrapins Walking around my neighborhood on 2012 December 2nd I met a man who was feeding the terrapins ( freshwater turtles ) in the pond located in apartment community premises... This gave me an excellent opportunity of taking pictures and recording movies of those creatures. It turned out that there is a plenty of terrapins inhabiting this small pond. The man who was feeding them told me that there is at least four different species of them there... He just got to the pond with a piece of bread in his hand and the terrapins started gathering around...
